Eight Of Ten Houses On Their Street Were Getting Fixed. Theirs Wasn't.
What they were up against
They could stand in their driveway and count the crews. Eight of the ten houses around them had signs in the yard and repairs underway. Same storm, same block, same damage. Theirs was the one the carrier would not acknowledge. They had paid their premiums for years without a single claim, and the first time they needed the policy they got a fight instead.
What we did
We made the carrier answer for every position it took. Not argued with it. Answered for it. Why is this not covered. Why is that not damage. We documented the loss properly and then we sat in the middle of the carrier, the homeowners and the contractor so everybody was working off one scope instead of three.
The outcome
Claim resolved. Repairs done.

In their own words
“If you back down, they'll just go ahead and finish the claim without you realizing you could have had better compensation if there was someone to guide you through.”

“It's a matter of odds with the insurance company. Some people are going to fight it. Some people are going to say okay, we'll go with what you give us, and not question anything.”

“You were very good because you tied us all together.”

My name is Art K., and this is Nancy J. We were not getting any places. Frustrated. Very frustrated that nothing was getting done. And the insurance company did not recognize the amount of damage that had been done here. We all had damage, and we knew that. Eight out of ten houses next to ours had signs coming up. Such and such ripping is being repaired. And we felt really frustrated because so many of the neighbors had the same claims. Their repairs were being done, seemed easily, and with less complications than we were having. If you back down, then they'll just go ahead and finish the claim without you realizing that you could have had better compensation if there was someone to guide you through, like you did for us. You provided the guidance for us to get us through the insurance claim. It's a matter of odds with the insurance company that some people are going to fight it. Some people are going to just say, okay, we'll go with what you give us and not question anything that they say. He was asking the insurance company, why? What do you mean? Why? Why? We've been paying for good customers. We've been paying our fees for years. And now when the claim comes, we're getting this battle. So he was the one who recognized that we had to go a little further. It was the help that you guys provided that we're getting through there. You're the one who's on the front line battling with the insurance company, and trying to get the compensation that you feel is reasonable to get. Well, I think, like you said, it's important that people understand that there are companies like yours that can help as the interim between the insurance company and the homeowner and or the insurance client and the contractor. And you were very good because you tied us all together. It's all done before. Look at the website. Yeah. And you've been really responsive to every time the art felt that it was a question we always, I'm going to call Taylor. Taylor was there.
